Abstract
(EN)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric current detector capable of reducing hysteresis without inviting large-scale formation, accurately and easily positioning a core to the inside of an exterior case, and preventing reductions in yield.

SOLUTION: In the electric current detector, a ring-like core 2 having a magnetic gap G and a Hall element 41 positioned in the magnetic gap of the core 2 for detecting the magnitude of an electric current passing through the core 2 are arranged in the exterior case 1. A mold resin section 3 covering the surface of the core 2 over part of the overall length along the magnetic path of the core 2 is molded at one or a plurality of locations along the magnetic path to constitute an integral core component. The core section fixed to the inside of the exterior case 1 with the surface of the mold resin section 3 in contact with the inner surface of the exterior case 1.

【課題】大型化を伴うことなくヒステリシスを抑制することが出来ると共に、外装ケース内にコアを正確且つ容易に位置決めすることが出来、然も、歩留まりの低下を防止することが出来る電流検出器を提供する。
【解決手段】本発明に係る電流検出器においては、外装ケース1内に、磁気ギャップGを有する環状のコア2と、該コア2の磁気ギャップ内に位置して該コア2を通過する電流の大きさを検知するホール素子41とが配備されている。ここで、コア2には、その磁路に沿う全長の内、一部の長さに亘ってコア2の表面を覆うモールド樹脂部3が、磁路に沿う1或いは複数箇所に成形されて、一体のコア部品が構成されており、該コア部品は、モールド樹脂部3の表面が外装ケース1の内面に接触した状態で、外装ケース1の内部に固定されている。
