本発明は、BH、MgH、MHおよびMH3−(M=Al、Ga、In)から選択された1種または複数のアニオンと、1種または複数のカチオンとをベースとする錯体水素化物を含む、可逆的に水素を吸蔵するための材料に関し、その材料は、錯体水素化物相そのものの中の置換によって、安定性の変化を受けたものである。本発明はさらに、その材料を調製するためのプロセス、その使用、ならびに可逆的に水素を吸蔵するためのプロセスにも関する。
