本発明は、完全長rpoB遺伝子、rpoB遺伝子断片の配列番号9および11〜32、ならびに前記rpoB遺伝子の高変異性断片の配列番号33および35〜56および77〜100、ならびにrpoB遺伝子のフレームを構成する高変異性の非コード配列の核酸断片である配列番号121〜144および165〜188、さらには、前記高変異性配列の断片に由来する種特異的な配列のオリゴヌクレオチドならびにアシネトバクター属細菌の様々な種の間のコンセンサスオリゴヌクレオチドである配列番号1〜8であって、次の24の種:A.calcoacezicus(遺伝種1)、A.baumannii(遺伝種2)、遺伝種3、A.haemolylicus(遺伝種4)、A.junii(遺伝種5)、遺伝種6、A.johnsonii(遺伝種7)、A.livoffli(遺伝種8)、遺伝種9、遺伝種10、遺伝種11、A.rndioresistens(遺伝種12)、遺伝種13、遺伝種16、A.schindleri、A.ursingii、A.baylyi、A.bouvetii、A.genieri、A.grimontii、A.tandoii、A.tjernbergiae、A.towneri、A.parvusのためのものに関する。本発明はさらに、アシネトバクター属細菌種の分子同定による検出方法における、前記オリゴヌクレオチド、前記遺伝子断片、または完全長rpoB遺伝子の使用に関する。
