PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a terminal having access to a large amount of service by using a menu application.

SOLUTION: A terminal 1 for a communication network having means for wireless communication and menus including menu items for performing a certain command includes a menu application, which can create the menu items in a memory of the terminal 1 according to predetermined commands, the terminal 1 has means for wirelessly receiving commands relating to the menu application via the communication network and the menu application is arranged to create menu items in the terminal 1 in response to reception of the commands.

【課題】メニュー・アプリケーションを使って大量のサービスへのアクセスを有することができる端末を実現する。
【解決手段】無線通信のための手段と、あるコマンドを実行するためのメニュー・アイテムを含むメニューとを有する通信ネットワーク用の端末1は、メニュー・アプリケーションであって、このメニュー・アプリケーションは、所定コマンドに従って端末1のメモリにメニュー・アイテムを生成でき、端末1は、通信ネットワークを介してメニュー・アプリケーションに関連するコマンドを無線で受信する手段を有し、メニュー・アプリケーションは、コマンドの受信に応答して端末1内にメニュー・アイテムを生成するように配置されているメニュー・アプリケーションを備える。
