PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system that includes a pattern having a decreased number of cells in a cellular wireless communication system including a repeating pattern of three cells.

SOLUTION: The wireless communication system includes a repeating pattern of cells (203), in which base station transmitters (204) and user transmitters (202) for each cell may be assigned a spread spectrum code for modulating radio signal communication in that cell. A wireless signal used in that cell is spread over a sufficiently wide bandwidth so that both a base station receiver and a user station receiver in an adjacent cell can distinguish communication which originates in one cell from that of another cell.

【課題】 減少された数のセルを有するパターンを含む無線通信システムを提供する。
【解決手段】 各セルのための基地局送信機(204)とユーザ送信機(202)はそのセルにおける無線信号通信を変調するためのスペクトル拡散コードが割り当てられることができるように、複数のセル(203)の繰り返しパターンを含む無線通信システムである。そのセルで用いられる無線信号は、ある隣接したセルにおける基地局受信機とユーザ局受信機との両方が1つのセルにおいて発信する通信をもう1つのセルからのものと識別することができるように十分に広い帯域幅にわたって拡散される。
