(EN) PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for the treatment and prevention of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) to which effective treatment is not yet developed and the present treatment is the transfer to a hospital to leave a patient to spontaneous healing and for which preventing method is lacked except for the wearing of mask, washing of hands, gargling, sterilization, or the like.
SOLUTION: Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is treated and prevented by enhancing immunological competence by lowering the heavy water concentration in the body by using a deuterium-decreased water (superlight water).

【課題】従来、重症急性呼吸器症候群（Ｓｅｖｅｒｅ Ａｃｕｔｅ Ｒｅｓｐｉｒａｔｏｒｙ Ｓｙｎｄｒｏｍｅ＝ＳＡＲＳ）に対する有効な治療方法は開発されておらず、医療機関に収容された後、自然治癒を待つのが現在の治療方法となっている。また、予防方法もマスクの着用、手洗い、うがい、消毒などしか方法が無い。しかしながら現実において、何らかの有効な治療および予防の方法が必要とされている。
【解決手段】本発明は、重症急性呼吸器症候群（Ｓｅｖｅｒｅ Ａｃｕｔｅ Ｒｅｓｐｉｒａｔｏｒｙ Ｓｙｎｄｒｏｍｅ＝ＳＡＲＳ）の治療および予防を重水素減少水（スーパーライトウォーター）による体内の重水濃度の低下による免疫力を強化する方法で治療および予防を行なうことである。
