Abstract
(EN)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce line unevenness by performing a compensation according to each unit head, even when injection characteristics of ink droplets vary for each unit head and when arrangement precision of unit head fluctuates.

SOLUTION: The liquid injection device is equipped with line head 10 where a plurality of (unit) heads 11 with arranged liquid injection parts are arranged side by side so that they are connected between heads 11. The device is equipped with an injection direction varying means and a criteria direction setting method. The injection direction varying means is variable in a plurality of directions in the arrangement direction of the liquid injection part. The criteria direction setting method individually sets up a main direction which is a criteria, among a plurality of injection direction of liquid droplets by the injection direction varying means for each head 11. In the (N-1)-th and (N+1)-th heads 11, the third injection direction from the left is set up to the main direction. In the N-th head 11, the second injection direction from the right is set up to the main direction.

【課題】単位ヘッド間でインク液滴の吐出特性のばらつきがある場合や、単位ヘッドの配置精度にばらつきがある場合であっても、各単位ヘッドに応じた補正を行うことで、スジムラの軽減等を図る。
【解決手段】液体吐出部を配列した(単位)ヘッド11を、ヘッド11間で繋がるように複数並設したラインヘッド10を備える液体吐出装置であって、各液体吐出部のノズルから吐出する液滴の吐出方向を、液体吐出部の配列方向において複数の方向に可変とした吐出方向可変手段と、各ヘッド11ごとに、吐出方向可変手段による液滴の複数の吐出方向のうち、基準となる1つの主方向を個別に設定する基準方向設定手段とを備える。「N−1」番目及び「N+1」番目のヘッド11では、左から3番目の吐出方向が主方向に設定されており、「N」番目のヘッド11では右から2番目の吐出方向が主方向に設定されている。
