本開示は、目的の生体分子を産生する、異種細菌ヘモグロビン遺伝子を発現する微生物株を生成するための方法について記載する。諸態様では、本開示は、天然Corynebacterium glutamicumプロモーターまたはそれに由来する変異体プロモーターによって発現が制御される異種細菌ヘモグロビン遺伝子を発現する新規の細菌株を提供する。Corynebacterium glutamicumに由来する複数のプロモーターを含むプロモーターラダーを使用して細菌ヘモグロビン遺伝子のライブラリーを生成するための方法も本明細書で提供される。
