(EN) PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample vessel that is adapted for a plurality of fluid samples and a plurality of statistical tests of different types, and reduces the sample amount required for inspection.

SOLUTION: This sample vessel 10 includes a tubule 12 having an opening for receiving a sample material and at least one compressible section, a generally rigid container 20 receiving at least a portion of the tubule, and an interface 30 in fluid communication with the opening in the tubule. The at least one compressible section has a wall constructed at least partially from a material having sufficient flexibility to permit compression of opposed sections of the wall into contact. The interface facilitates delivery of the sample to the tubule through the opening.
