(EN) AUTOMATIC PARTS COUNTING MACHINE IN THE CONVEYOR
Abstract
(EN) The aim of the present innovation is to provide cheapest technology to the manufacturing industry to make ease while counting the parts that travels in a conveyor during the continuous production in a particular section. Nowadays automation is a key factor that plays a vital role in any manufacturing industries. Majority of the industries have adopted an automation system to count the manufactured parts and also to inspect the parts for the account of quality check. Unfortunately the automation system used to count the parts being expensive and industries like small scale and enterprises would not capable of integrate in their units. Considering the small and medium scale industries; this invention brings affordable as well as quality enhanced technology to count the parts that traveling in a conveyor. The conveyor system is used to move the parts from one place to another. This system consists of high resolution camera which captures the part continuously during the transportation in a conveyor. The captured images were converted to binary images in the controller unit. The converted binary images were compared with the template. This system uses a special algorithm which counts the parts precisely during the transportation. The counted numbers incessantly were displayed in the displaying unit for visual authentication.
