The present invention addresses the problem of providing a gearbox not requiring effort to assemble. The present invention includes the following: a drive shaft (51) having a worm (53); a driven shaft (55) which is arranged so as to intersect with the drive shaft (51) and has a worm wheel (57) that meshes with the worm (53); a pair of first cases (59, 61) which are arranged so that the worm (53) is interposed therebetween from the axial direction and in which are formed holes (59a, 61a) into which the drive shaft (51) is inserted; a pair of second cases (63, 65) which are arranged so that the worm wheel (57) is interposed therebetween from the axial direction and in which are formed holes (63a, 65a) into which the driven shaft (55) is inserted; and pressing mechanisms (63b, 63c, 65b, 65c) whereby when the second cases (63, 65) are pressed in the direction of the first cases (59, 61) the pair of first cases (59, 61) are pushed together.
