Abstract:
(EN) An alumino-borosilicate glass for the confinement, isolation of a radioactive liquid effluent of medium activity.Vitrification adjuvant. A method for treating a radioactive liquid effluent of medium activity, wherein calcination of said effluent is carried out in order to obtain a calcinate, and a vitrification adjuvant is then added to said calcinate, it is proceeded with the melting of said calcinate and of said vitrification adjuvant in a cold crucible in order to obtain a glass melt, said glass melt is then cooled down in order to obtain the alumino-borosilicate glass.
