The present invention provides a new process for obtaining optically active pirlindole enantiomers, in the form of a free base or in the form of pharmaceutically acceptable salts. The products obtained according to the present invention are enantiomerically pure and are useful in medicine.

Invensi sekarang ini menyediakan suatu proses baru untuk perolehan enantiomer-enantiomer pirlindol aktif secara optikal, dalam bentuk dari suatu basa bebas atau dalam bentuk dari garam-garam yang dapat diterima secara farmasi. Produk-produk yang diperoreh sebagaimana yang diuraikan dalam invensi sekarang ini adalah murni secara enantiomerikal dan adalah yang berguna dalam obat.
