Η εφεύρεση συνίσταται σε προϊόν για την κλειστή ανάταξη καταγμάτων και συγκεκριμένα σε έναν νέου τύπου ενδομυελικό αυλοφόρο οδηγό ανάταξης κατάγματος με ενδοσκοπική κάμερα για χρήση σε εγχειρήσεις ενδομυελικής ήλωσης. Ο ενδομυελικός αυλοφόρος οδηγός ανάταξης αποτελείται από εύκαμπτη; άθραυστη, αρθρωτή και αυλοφόρα ράβδο, λαβή τύπου Τ (T-handle) με οπή στην άνω επιφάνεια, από κάμερα, που βρίσκεται στο άκρο του οδηγού, φέρει πηγή φωτισμού και η οποία συνδέεται ενσύρματα ή ασύρματα σε συσκευή αναπαραγωγής εικόνας από φλάντζα στεγανοποίησης με σχισμή ή στόμιο, κάνουλα (οπή) εισαγωγής και εξαγωγής για την αναρρόφηση υγρού ή / και την πλύση του υαλοπίνακα της κάμερας. Ο ενδοσκοπικός αυλοφόρος οδηγός ανάταξης με ενδοσκοπική κάμερα εισέρχεται, σε οστό που έχει υποστεί κάταγμα. Στην οθόνη φαίνεται η ενδοαυλική εικόνα που λαμβάνει η κάμερα όταν συναντάει την εστία του κατάγματος. Έτσι ο χειρουργός αντιλαμβάνεται την κατεύθυνση προς την οποία πρέπει να ωθήσει τα οστικά τεμάχια, ώστε με σκελετικούς χειρισμούς να τα ανατάξει. Μετά την είσοδο του ενδομυελικού αυλοφόρου οδηγού ανάταξης αφαιρείται η κάμερα από τον οδηγό, τραβώντας το καλώδιο της κάμερας και εισέρχεται, διαμέσου του αυλού του οδηγού, ο συρμάτινος οδηγός με την ελαία στο άκρο και συνεχίζεται η εγχείρηση όπως γινόταν μέχρι σήμερα.

Novelty: a new-type intramedullary cannulated guide with endoscopic camera for use in intramedullary nailing operations is disclosed. Purpose: closed bone fracture reduction. Constitution: a flexible, unbreakable, articulated and cannulated T-type rod (T-handle) having a top hole allowing the passage of the wire of a camera being set at the end of the aforementioned intramedullary guide and bearing a lighting source which is wired or wirelessly connected to an image reproduction device; a sealing flange having an outlet fissure or nozzle (tap) destined for the suction of liquid from the bone lumen and an inlet fissure or nozzle (tap) supplying washing liquid serving for the cleaning of the glass panel of the camera. Function mode: the invented endoscopic cannulated guide enters the fractured bone; the intraluminal image taken by the camera -when meeting the fractured bone region- is displayed on the screen so that the surgeon is in position to reduce with adequate handling capacity the broken bone΄s fragments to their best possible position. After insertion of the intramedullary cannulated guide in the fragmented bone, the camera is removed therefrom upon pulling of the wire and the olive wire guide (wire guide having an olive-shaped ball at its end) inserted in the bone through the lumen of the guide; in the sequel, the surgical operation goes on in the ordinary mode as so far done.
