(EN) Disclosed is a rear boot basket arrangement 100 for a vehicle, characterised in that it is adapted to be supported from a bottom surface 104 at a base region 102 of the rear boot basket arrangement onto a corresponding supporting surface 302 within the vehicle, provided with a side-wall arrangement 106A-D extending from a plane of the bottom surface, which is arranged with an outwardly-directed peripheral lip 108 that cooperates with a hole 306 in the bodywork of the vehicle. The rear boot basket arrangement may be provided with carpeting trim 110 on the inwardly-facing surface 314, and could also include a handle for inserting or removing the basket. Furthermore, it is preferred that the boot basket be fabricated from carbon fibre composite, fibre-glass composite, thermally formed plastics material sheet, pressed metal sheet or super-alloy sheet, and may form cavities around external sides of the boot basket 316A-B to accommodate functional components such as electric batteries 206. Independent claims are also included for a method of providing the boot basket, and a software product for said method.
