Abstract
(ES) Sistema automatizado para la filtración de una muestra y para la detección de células raras de una muestra, comprendiendo el sistema: un aparato de filtración (11) que comprende una membrana (12) a través de la cual se hace pasar la muestra para proporcionar un material retenido (14) que se sospecha que tiene una cantidad de células raras (15); un aparato de suministro de fluido (18) que introduce un fluido sobre la membrana (12) para la filtración o detección de las células raras (15); un sensor de presión (20) dispuesto sobre o alrededor de la membrana (12) para indicar directa o indirectamente un nivel de fluido sobre la membrana (12), en el que el fluido es un líquido, caracterizándose el sistema automatizado porque comprende además un circuito de control electrónico (24) configurado para: a) determinar un tiempo real transcurrido para que una cantidad conocida de fluido pase a través de la membrana (12) desde un tiempo inicial hasta un punto en el tiempo, determinándose el punto en el tiempo cuando el sensor de presión (20) indica una presión menor que, o dentro de una cantidad fijada a partir de un valor umbral predeterminado; b) determinar un tiempo teórico para que una cantidad conocida de fluido se desplace a través de la membrana (12) desde el tiempo inicial hasta el punto en el tiempo, en el que una diferencia entre el tiempo teórico y el tiempo real es indicativa de una pérdida del fluido más rápida de lo esperado; c) determinar la cantidad de ajuste del fluido a añadir a la membrana (12) desde el aparato de suministro de fluido (18) basándose en la diferencia entre el tiempo real y el tiempo teórico; y d) dar instrucciones al aparato de suministro de fluido (18) para que añada la cantidad de ajuste a la membrana (12).
