Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein expandierbares Styrolpolymerisat, enthaltend wenigstens ein Flammschutzmittel als Komponente (A), 0,0001 bis 2 Gew.-%, bezogen auf Komponente (A), wenigstens eines Metalls als Komponente (B) und athermane Partikel als Komponente (C), ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dieses expandierbaren Styrolpolymerisates, einen expandierten Styrolpolymerisat-Partikel, enthaltend wenigstens ein Flammschutzmittel als Komponente (A), 0,0001 bis 2 Gew.-%, bezogen auf Komponente (A), wenigstens eines Metalls als Komponente (B) und athermane Partikel als Komponente (C), ein Verfahren zu Herstellung dieses expandierten Styrolpolymerisat-Partikels, einen Schaumstoff, herstellbar aus diesem expandierbaren Styrolpolymerisat, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dieses Schaumstoffs, sowie die Verwendung eines solchen Schaumstoffes zur Wärmedämmung, zur thermischen Isolierung von Maschinen und Haushaltsgeräten und als Verpackungsmaterial.

The present invention relates to an expandable styrene polymer, comprising at least one flame retardant as component (A), 0.0001 to 2 wt.%, in relation to component (A), of at least one metal as component (B), and athermanous particles as component (C), to a method for the production of said expandable styrene polymer, to an expanded styrene polymer particle, comprising at least one flame retardant as component (A), 0.0001 to 2 wt.%, in relation to component (A), of at least one metal as component (B), and athermanous particles as component (C), to a method for the production of said expanded styrene polymer particle, to a foam that can be produced from said expandable styrene polymer, to a method for the production of said foam, and to the use of said foam for heat insulation, for the thermal insulation of machines and household appliances, and as a packaging material.

La présente invention porte sur un polymère du styrène expansible contenant au moins un agent retardateur de flamme comme composant (A), 0,0001 à 2 % en poids, par rapport au composant (A), d'au moins un métal comme composant (B), et des particules athermanes comme composant (C), sur un procédé de fabrication de ce polymère de styrène expansible, sur des particules de polymère de styrène expansé, contenant au moins un agent retardateur de flamme comme composant (A), 0,0001 à 2 % en poids, par rapport au composant (A), d'au moins un métal comme composant (B), et de particules athermanes comme composant (C), sur un procédé de fabrication de ces particules de polymère de styrène expansé, sur une mousse pouvant être fabriquée à partir de ce polymère de styrène expansé, sur un procédé de fabrication de cette mousse, ainsi que sur l'utilisation d'une telle mousse pour l'isolation thermique, pour l'isolation thermique de machines et appareils ménagers et comme matériau d'emballage.
