Provided is an engine system capable of ensuring a sufficient boost pressure during engine braking and improving a braking force of a compression release brake. The engine system includes: a compression release brake device (19) that operates a compression release brake to obtain a braking force during engine braking by forcibly opening an exhaust valve (24)and releasing a compressive pressure near a compression top dead center of an engine (E); a power-assisted turbocharger (2) including a turbine (3) disposed on an exhaust passage (6) of the engine (E) and driven by exhaust, a compressor (4) disposed on an intake passage (7) and driven by a rotational torque of the turbine (3), and an electric motor (5) that assists a drive force of the compressor (4); and an electric motor control unit (22) that drives the electric motor (5) when the compressor release brake is operated.

L'invention porte sur un système de moteur thermique apte à assurer une pression de gavage suffisante pendant un freinage au moteur et d'améliorer la force de freinage des freins à relâchement de la compression. Le système de moteur thermique comporte : un dispositif de freinage à relâchement de la compression (19) servant à actionner un frein à relâchement de la compression qui obtient une force de freinage pendant le freinage au frein moteur grâce à une ouverture forcée d'une soupape d'échappement (24), et par relâchement de la pression de compression à proximité du point mort haut de compression d'un moteur (E) ; un turbocompresseur à assistance électrique (2) ayant une turbine (3) disposée sur le passage d'échappement (6) du moteur thermique et entraînée par l'échappement, un compresseur disposé sur le passage d'admission (7) et entraîné par le couple de la turbine (3), et un moteur électrique (5) qui assiste la force d'entraînement du compresseur (4) ; et une unité de commande de moteur électrique (22) qui met le moteur électrique (5) en circuit lorsque le frein à relâchement de la compression est en action.
