Abstract
(EN) Pupae counting device that allows the automatic quantification of the youth-adult transition in groups of flies, like Drosophila. It comprises a circular platform (1), one or more tube holders (2) positioned on the platform (1), one or more sample tubes (3), inserted into each tube holder (2), and intended to contain the pupae, a camera (6) for recording video and images, directed towards the platform (1), a central motor (4) linked and rotating the platform (1) in front of the camera (6), until a sample tube (3) of interest is positioned in front of the camera (6), and an external motor (5) positioned beside the platform (1), for rotating the sample tube (3) of interest 360° over itself in front of the camera (6).
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de dénombrement de pupes qui permet la quantification automatique de la transition jeune-adulte dans des groupes de mouches, comme Drosophila. Le dispositif comprend une plateforme circulaire (1), un ou plusieurs porte-tube (2) positionnés dans la plateforme (1), un ou plusieurs tubes échantillons (3), insérés dans chaque porte-tube (2) et destinés à contenir les pupes, une caméra (6) pour enregistrer une vidéo et des images, dirigée vers la plateforme (1), un moteur central (4) relié à la plateforme (1) et entraînant cette dernière en rotation face à la caméra (6), il suffit qu'un tube échantillon (3) d'intérêt se positionne face à la caméra (6) et qu'un moteur externe (5) soit positionné à côté de la plateforme (1) pour entraîner en rotation le tube échantillon (3) d'intérêt à 360° sur lui-même face à la caméra (6).
