Abstract
(EN) The present disclosure relates to a concept for correcting orientation information based on inertial sensor data from one or more inertial sensors mounted to an object. The proposed concept includes receiving position data indicative of a current absolute position of the object, determining a direction of movement of the object based on the position data, and correcting the object's orientation information based on the determined direction of movement.
(FR) L'invention concerne un concept permettant de corriger des informations d'orientation d'après des données de capteurs inertiels provenant d'un ou de plusieurs capteurs inertiels montés sur un objet. Le concept de l'invention consiste à : recevoir des données de position indiquant une position absolue actuelle de l'objet; déterminer une direction de mouvement de l'objet d'après les données de position; et corriger les informations d'orientation de l'objet d'après la direction de mouvement déterminée.
