The present invention relates to an ink-jet printing apparatus that is capable of obtaining printed materials having good appearance while maintaining high quality of printed characters or images even when printed on a resin printing medium using a water-based ink, and an ink-jet printing method. The present invention provides an ink-jet printing apparatus in which when setting a plurality of measuring positions of a printing medium including a position of the printing medium at which the printing medium is wound into a web roll in a web roll heating/supporting mechanism and positions of the printing medium which are respectively located just below a plurality of ink-jet printing heads, a plurality of temperature measuring devices measure temperatures of a surface of the printing medium at the plurality of measuring positions, respectively, and a heating amount control device controls a heating amount of the web roll heating/supporting mechanism and heating amounts of under heaters on the basis of the plural measured temperatures such that a difference between the temperatures measured in a portion of the printing medium to which a tension force is applied falls within the range of 10°C, and an ink-jet printing method using the ink-jet printing apparatus.

L'invention concerne un dispositif ainsi qu'un procédé d'enregistrement à jet d'encre qui permettent d'obtenir un article imprimé d'aspect satisfaisant, en préservant une haute qualité d'image, y compris en cas d'enregistrement sur un support d'enregistrement en résine à l'aide d'une encre aqueuse. Plus précisément, l'invention concerne un dispositif d'enregistrement à jet d'encre et un procédé d'enregistrement à jet d'encre mettant en œuvre ce dispositif tels que dans le cas où un support d'enregistrement enroulé sur un rouleau de matériau de départ dans un mécanisme de chauffage et support de rouleau de matériau de départ, et un support d'enregistrement juste au-dessous d'une pluralité de têtes à jet d'encre, constituent une pluralité de points de mesure de support d'enregistrement, une pluralité d'appareils de mesure de température, mesure la température superficielle de chacun des points de mesure de support d'enregistrement, un dispositif de commande de quantité de chauffage commande la quantité de chauffage du mécanisme de chauffage et support de rouleau de matériau de départ et la quantité de chauffage d'un élément chauffant inférieur sur la base de la pluralité de températures mesurées, de sorte que la différence de température des supports d'enregistrement soumis à une traction ne dépasse pas 10°C.
