Abstract:
(EN) A bone graft containment device (100) includes a body (102) formed via one or more helical structures (110) extending about a longitudinal axis of the body from a first end (104) to a second end (106) to define a channel (108) extending longitudinally therethrough. The channel is configured to receive a bone graft or bone graft substitute material therein, the one or more helical structures formed of a material permitting the body to be one of expanded, compressed and curved to fill a target space of a target bone.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif (100) de retenue de greffon osseux qui comprend un corps (102) formé par une ou plusieurs structures hélicoïdales (110) s'étendant autour d'un axe longitudinal du corps depuis une première extrémité (104) jusqu'à une seconde extrémité (106) pour délimiter un canal (108) s'étendant longitudinalement à travers celui-ci. Le canal est conçu pour recevoir en son sein un greffon osseux ou un matériau de substitution de greffon osseux, la ou les structures hélicoïdales étant formées d'un matériau permettant au corps d'être déployé, comprimé et courbé pour remplir un espace cible d'un os cible.
