Abstract

A vehicle determines a traction value for a surface of a road segment, and associates the traction value with a location of the surface. The vehicle stored the traction value and location as part of a traction map. Concretely, the vehicles equipped with resources for detecting the traction value of a road surface may transmit traction information to a network service. The vehicle may perform a variety of operations upon determining the traction value of the road surface.

Selon la présente invention, un véhicule détermine une valeur de traction pour une surface d'un segment de route, et associe la valeur de traction à un emplacement de la surface. Le véhicule stocke la valeur de traction et l'emplacement en tant que partie d'une carte de traction. Concrètement, les véhicules équipés de ressources pour détecter la valeur de traction d'une surface de route peuvent transmettre les informations de traction à un service de réseau. Le véhicule peut effectuer différentes opérations lors de la détermination de la valeur de traction de la surface de route.
