A gas leak location estimating device includes: an information processor which acquires image information on a plurality of frames from an infrared camera, the information processor being capable of executing: a block discrimination processing of dividing an image area of each of the frames into a plurality of blocks and discriminating whether each of the blocks is a gas area; a count processing of counting a number of times each of the blocks is discriminated as the gas area, over the frames in chronological order, in the block discrimination processing; and a leak location estimation processing of setting, among the blocks, a block whose counted value obtained in the count processing is equal to or larger than a predetermined value as an estimated gas leak location.

L'invention aborde le problème visant à estimer avec précision l'emplacement d'une fuite de gaz. Un système d'estimation d'emplacement de fuite de gaz (100) comprend une caméra infrarouge (10) dont la plage de capture d'image comprend un objet cible surveillé, et un moyen de traitement d'informations (30) qui acquiert des informations d'image parmi une pluralité de trames provenant de la caméra infrarouge. Le moyen de traitement d'informations est apte à exécuter : un processus d'évaluation de bloc qui divise la zone d'image de chaque image en une pluralité de blocs, et évalue si chaque bloc est une région de gaz ou non ; un processus de comptage qui compte, parmi une pluralité de trames de séries temporelles, le nombre de fois que chaque bloc a été évalué, par le processus d'évaluation, comme étant une région de gaz ; et un processus d'estimation d'emplacement de fuite qui définit, comme l'emplacement estimé de fuite de gaz, des blocs pour lesquels la valeur de comptage du processus de comptage est égale ou supérieur à une certaine valeur. Par exemple, les blocs B0611... ayant des valeurs de comptage de 9 ou plus sont définis comme l'emplacement estimé de fuite de gaz.
