(EN) The invention relates to a method, computer program product and video communication device (32) for transmitting video to a remote user. The video communication device comprises a communication interface for providing a communication session with a device of the remote user, a camera capturing images, and a control unit configured to obtain a three- dimensional model of the location, control the camera to capture video images (VI) of the location, determine a current orientation of the video communication device, and transfer the three-dimensional model (OI) and orientation to the device of the remote user together with a video stream from the camera comprising the captured video images.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé, un produit-programme informatique et un dispositif de communication vidéo (32) permettant de transmettre une vidéo à un utilisateur distant. Le dispositif de communication vidéo comprend une interface de communication pour établir une session de communication avec un dispositif de l'utilisateur distant, une caméra capturant des images et une unité de commande configurée pour obtenir un modèle tridimensionnel de l'emplacement, commander la caméra afin de capturer des images vidéo (VI) de l'emplacement, déterminer une orientation actuelle du dispositif de communication vidéo et transférer le modèle tridimensionnel (OI) ainsi que l'orientation au dispositif de l'utilisateur distant avec un flux vidéo provenant de la caméra contenant les images vidéo capturées.
