(EN) A device for intrabody extension with screws working in traction. A first elongate section (1) receives a second telescopic section (2). Each of these sections includes means (61), (62) for connection to the body at a first end (11), (21), and is linked to a pin (3) containing at least one threading at a second end (12) and (22). Rotation of the pin (3) controlled by means (4) causes relative movement of the two sections (1) and (2). Thus, the pin (3) is mounted between two ends (12) and (22) which move closer when the device is elongated, and the loaded pin length (7) decreases when the device is elongated and the loaded pin length (7) works only in traction. The device according to the invention is specifically designed for making screws for bone elongation and growth prostheses.
(FR) Dispositif d'allongement intracorporel à vis travaillant en traction. Une première partie allongée (1), reçoit une seconde partie (2) télescopique. Chacune de ces parties comprends des moyens de liaison (61), (62) à l'organisme à une première extrémité (11), (21) et est reliée à une tige (3) comportant au moins un filetage à une seconde extrémité (12) et (22). La rotation de la tige (3) commandée par des moyens (4) entraîne le déplacement relatif des deux parties (1) et (2). Ainsi, la tige (3) est montée entre deux extrémités (12) et (22) qui se rapprochent quand le dispositif s'allonge, la longueur de tige chargée (7) diminue quand le dispositif s'allonge et la longueur de tige chargée (7) travaille uniquement en traction. Le dispositif selon l'invention est particulièrement destiné à la réalisation de clous d'allongement osseux et de prothèses de croissance.
