Abstract:
(EN) A system architecture for a receiver to process multiple signals on a common carrier frequency from a satellite. The receiver is arranged such that the receiver receives input data transmitted from the satellite. A pilot signal is tracked from the input data using a correlation channel, and a data signal is tracked from the input data using a data code generator operatively connected to the correlation channel. In one embodiment of the invention, the data signal generator creates replica code for the data signal. In another embodiment of the invention, the system can switch between the data signal generator and pilot signal generator based upon the signal-to-noise ratio of the incoming signal.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une architecture système permettant à un récepteur de traiter plusieurs signaux sur une fréquence porteuse commune provenant d'un satellite. Le récepteur est conçu de manière à recevoir des données d'entrée transmises par le satellite. Un signal pilote est poursuivi à partir des données d'entrée au moyen d'une voie de corrélation, et un signal de données est poursuivi à partir des données d'entrée au moyen d'un générateur de codes de données connecté de manière opérationnelle à la voie de corrélation. Dans un mode de réalisation, le générateur de signaux de données crée un code de reproduction pour le signal de données. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, le système peut commuter entre le générateur de signaux de données et le générateur de signaux pilotes sur la base d'un rapport signal/bruit du signal entrant.
