The present invention provides a method of manufacturing, a stabilized polyacetal resin, comprising the step of applying a heat treatment to a polyacetal resin having an unstable terminal group in the presence of an unstable terminal group decomposer selected from the following Group I, Group II and Group III, thereby decreasing the unstable terminal group: unstable terminal group decomposer of Group I: (I) a quaternary ammonium salt of an acidic cyclic amide compound, unstable terminal group decomposer of Group II: (II) a quaternary ammonium salt of a polycarboxylic acid intramolecularly having four or more carboxyl groups and/or a quaternary ammonium salt of an aminocarboxylic acid intramolecularly having one or more carboxyl group(s), unstable terminal group decomposer of Group III: (III) a quaternary ammonium salt, wherein a compound providing a counter-anion of a quaternary ammonium salt is at least one selected from the group consisting of the following (i) to (v): (i) a carbonic acid monoester and/or a metal bicarbonate, (ii) an acidic enol-based compound, (iii) a phenol-based and/or an alcohol-based compound, (iv) an acidic azole-based compound, and (v) at least one non-carboxylic acid-based compound selected from the group consisting of an organic sulfur compound, an organic phosphorus compound and an organic boron compound.

L’invention concerne un procédé destiné à produire une résine de polyacétal stabilisée comprenant le chauffage d’une résine de polyacétal ayant des groupes terminaux instables en présence d'un agent de traitement destiné à la décomposition des groupes terminaux instables choisi parmi les groupes (I), (II), et (III) suivants de façon à diminuer de ce fait les groupes terminaux instables. L’invention concerne des agents de traitement destinés à la décomposition des groupes terminaux instables du groupe (I) Groupe (I) : des sels d'ammonium quaternaire de composés de type amide d’acide cyclique ;des agents de traitement destinés à la décomposition des groupes terminaux instables du groupe (II) Groupe (II) : des sels d'ammonium quaternaire d’acides polycarboxyliques ayant quatre groupes carboxy ou plus par molécule et/ou des sels d'ammonium quaternaire d’acides aminocarboxyliques ayant un groupe carboxy ou plus par molécule ; des agents de traitement destinés à la décomposition des groupes terminaux instables du groupe (III) Groupe (III) : des sels d'ammonium quaternaire dans lesquels les contre-anions sont ceux dérivés d’au moins un composé choisi dans le groupe constitué par les composés (i) à (v) suivants : (i) des monoesters d'acide carbonique et/ou des hydrogénocarbonates d’un métal ; (ii) des composés de type acide énol ; (iii) des composés phénoliques et des composés alcooliques ; (iv) des composés de type acide azole ; et (v) au moins un composé de type acide non carboxylique choisi dans le groupe constitué par des composés organosulfurés, des composés organophosphorés, et des composés organoborés.
