A microreplication apparatus forms a microreplicated article including a web (422) , a first patterned roll (460) , first nip roll (454) and first coating die (456) disposed adjacent the web substrate first side and the web substrate is disposed between the first patterned roll and first nip roll. The first nip roll touches the web substrate second side and the first patterned roll touches the web substrate first side. A second patterned roll (474) , second nip roll and second coating die (464) , disposed adjacent the web substrate second side and the web substrate is disposed between the second patterned roll and second nip roll . The second nip roll touches the web substrate first side and the second patterned roll (474) touches the web substrate second side. A drive assembly rotates the first patterned roll and the second patterned roll maintaining a continuous registration within 100 micrometers.

L'invention concerne un appareil de microréplication destiné à former un article microrépliqué, comprenant une bande (422), un premier rouleau à motifs (460), un premier rouleau à pression de serrage (454) et une première filière d'enduction (456), montée adjacente à la première face de la bande formant le substrat, la bande substrat étant disposée entre le premier rouleau à motifs et le premier rouleau à pression de serrage. Le premier rouleau à pression de serrage vient en contact avec la seconde face de la bande substrat, et le premier rouleau à motifs vient en contact avec la première face de la bande substrat. L'appareil comprend un second rouleau à motifs (474), un second rouleau à pression de serrage et une seconde filière d'enduction (464), montée adjacente à la seconde face de la bande substrat, cette dernière étant disposée entre le second rouleau à motifs et le second rouleau à pression de serrage. Le second rouleau à pression de serrage vient en contact avec la première face de la bande substrat, et le second rouleau à motifs (474) vient en contact avec la seconde face de la bande substrat. Un ensemble de commande entraîne en rotation le premier rouleau à motifs et le second rouleau à motifs, tout en maintenant une synchronisation continue dans les limites de 100 micromètres.
