Abstract
(EN) A method for providing an intensity or brightness measurement using a digital image-capturing device comprising: selecting a target area within a field of view of the image-capturing device, the target area containing pixels; determining the brightness of pixels in the target area; accumulating the brightness values of the pixels in the target area; and determining a pixel value representative of the pixels in the target area. A device for making color measurements comprising an image-capture device, a processor or logic device, and a memory location for accumulating color data, and the processor or logic device is programmed to perform color measurements by accumulating the data for pixels located in the target area in memory, and determining a representative color value.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé permettant d'effectuer une mesure de l'intensité ou de la luminance au moyen d'un dispositif de capture d'image numérique, ce procédé consistant à : sélectionner une zone cible dans le champ de vision du dispositif de capture d'image, la zone cible contenant des pixels ; déterminer la luminance des pixels dans la zone cible ; totaliser les valeurs de luminance des pixels dans la zone ciblent et déterminer une valeur de pixel représentative des pixels de la zone cible. L'invention porte également sur un dispositif permettant d'effectuer des contrôles colorimétriques et comprenant un dispositif de capture d'image, un processeur ou dispositif logique et un emplacement mémoire afin d'y stocker les données de couleur, le processeur ou le dispositif logique étant programmé pour effectuer des contrôles colorimétriques par stockage en mémoire des données des pixels localisés dans la zone cible et déterminer une valeur de couleur représentative.
