Abstract
(EN) An ergonomically superior endoscopic suction-irrigation instrument for surgery comprises a telescope sheath (12) connected at an adjustable angle, preferably approximately 30°, to a vertically elongated handle (16) having thumb-operated irrigation and suction valves (62, 64) and a hook (86) for supporting the handle from the surgeon's hand when the surgeon's grip on the handle is loosened. The instrument is especially suited for sinus surgery.
(FR) L'invention concerne un instrument chirurgical endoscopique d'aspiration et d'irrigation qui est supérieur du point de vue ergonomique et qui comprend une gaine télescopique (12) connectée au niveau d'un angle réglable, de préférence 30°, à une poignée allongée dans le sens vertical (16), laquelle comporte des soupapes d'irrigation et d'aspiration (62, 64) actionnées par le pouce et un crochet (86) permettant au chirurgien de supporter la poignée avec sa main lorsque sa prise sur la poignée se relâche. L'instrument convient spécialement à la chirurgie des sinus.
