Abstract
(EN) A technique of applying selected chemicals for increasing agricultural water retention and minimizing erosion. The technique applies water absorbent polymers (10) into the top layer (15) of the field. These polymers create a water barrier within the soil. Subsequently, a linear polymer such as polyacrylamide is applied to the soil's surface to minimize erosion during irrigation and precipitation. The water absorbent polymers (10) assist in the thorough application of the linear polymer as the linear polymer is maintained at the surface area and prevented from leeching away.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une technique consistant à appliquer des produits chimiques choisis afin d'augmenter la rétention agricole de l'eau et de minimiser l'érosion. Selon cette technique, on applique des polymères (10) absorbant l'eau dans la couche supérieure (15) du champ. Ces polymères créent une barrière d'eau dans le sol. Ensuite, on applique à la surface du sol un polymère linéaire tel qu'un polyacrylamide afin de minimiser l'érosion pendant l'irrigation et les précipitations. Les polymères (10) absorbant l'eau contribuent à l'application parfaitement efficace du polymère linéaire étant donné qu'ils maintiennent ce dernier sur la zone de surface et empêchent qu'il soit lessivé.
