Abstract:
(DE) Wasserabsorbierende, schaumförmige, vernetzte Polymerisate, die erhältlich sind durch (I) Schäumen einer polymerisierbaren wäßrigen Mischung, die (a) Säuregruppen enthaltende monoethylenisch ungesättigte Monomere, die zu mindestens 50 Mol-% neutralisiert sind; (b) gegebenenfalls andere monoethylenisch ungesättigte Monomere; (c) Vernetzer; (d) Initiatoren; (e) 0,1 bis 20 Gew.-% mindestens eines Tensids; (f) gegebenenfalls mindestens einen Lösevermittler und (g) gegebenenfalls Verdicker, Schaumstabilisatoren, Polymerisationsregler, Füllstoffe und/oder Zellkeimbildner enthält, wobei das Schäumen durch Dispergieren von feinen Blasen eines gegenüber Radikalen inerten Gases erfolgt; und (II) Polymerisieren der geschäumten Mischung unter Bildung eines schaumförmigen Hydrogels und Einstellen des Wassergehalts des schaumförmigen Polymerisats auf 1 bis 45 Gew.-%, Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung und ihre Verwendung in Sanitärartikeln, die zur Absorption von Körperflüssigkeiten eingesetzt werden und im Verbandmaterial zur Abdeckung von Wunden.
(EN) The invention concerns water-absorbent cellular crosslinked-polymer materials produced by (I) foaming a polymerizable aqueous mixture containing: (a) acid-group-containing monoethylenically unsaturated monomers which have been neutralized to at least 50 mol %; (b) optionally, other monoethylenically unsaturated monomers; (c) crosslinking agents; (d) initiators; (e) 0.1 to 20 % by wt. of at least one surfactant; (f) optionally, at least one solubilizer and (g) optionally, thickeners, foam stabilizers, polymerization-control agents, fillers and/or cell-nucleation agents, the foaming being carried out by dispersing throughout the mixture fine bubbles of a gas which is inert to radicals, and (II) polymerizing the foamed mixture to form a cellular hydrogel and adjusting the water content of the cellular hydrogel to 1 to 45 % by wt. The invention also concerns methods of producing such polymer materials and their use in personal-hygiene articles used to absorb body fluids and in bandage material used to cover injuries.
(FR) L'invention concerne des polymères absorbant l'eau, en mousse, réticulés, que l'on obtient (I) en faisant mousser un mélange aqueux polymérisable, qui contient (a) des monomères mono-éthyléniquement insaturés contenant des groupes acides qui sont neutralisés à au moins 50 mol %, (b) éventuellement d'autres monomères mono-éthyléniquement insaturés, (c) des agents de réticulation, (d) des initiateurs, (e) de 0,1 à 20 % en poids d'un agent tensioactif, (f) éventuellement au moins un agent de solubilisation et (g) éventuellement des épaississants, des stabilisateurs de mousse, des régulateurs de polymérisation, des charges et/ou des générateurs de germes cellulaires, le moussage se faisant par dispersion de fines bulles d'un gaz inerte vis-à-vis des radicaux, et (II) en polymérisant le mélange moussé pour former un hydrogel en mousse et en faisant en sorte que la teneur en eau du polymère en mousse soit comprise entre 1 et 45 % en poids. L'invention concerne également le procédé de fabrication de ces polymères et leur utilisation dans des articles sanitaires utilisés pour l'absorption des fluides corporels et dans des pansements destinés à recouvrir les plaies.
