Abstract

A modular fail-safe uninterruptible lighting system in which lights (20-21) are identified singly and/or in clusters to form separately controllable entities. Each entity is provided with a modular receiver (23) that is individually controllable to any of six selected states; and one or more modular switched logic controllers (13) is provided to produce signals severally representing the six states. These signals are conducted from the switched logic controllers to the receivers at relatively low control voltages so as to cause the entities to function according to selected states when an outage occurs on the normal lighting system power source.

La présente invention concerne un système d'éclairage modulaire sans interruption à sécurité intégrée, dans lequel les luminaires (20-21) sont identifiés individuellement ou par groupes, ou les deux, pour constituer des entités pouvant être commandées séparément. Chaque entité possède un récepteur modulaire (23) qui peut être commandé individuellement afin qu'il prenne l'un quelconque de six états possibles sélectionnés; le système comprend en outre un ou plusieurs dispositifs de commande logique modulaires commutés, qui servent à produire des signaux représentant séparément les six états. Ces signaux sont amenés des dispositifs de commande logique commutés aux récepteurs avec des tensions de commande relativement basses, afin de provoquer le fonctionnement des entités suivant des états sélectionnés quand une panne se produit dans la source normale d'électricité du système d'éclairage.
