(EN) A process for regeneration of a deactivated hydroprocessing catalyst is provided. The process comprises exposing the catalyst to laser radiation in the presence of an oxidizing gas. The process may be used to regenerate supported or unsupported metal catalysts which have been fouled by coking.
(FR) Le procédé décrit, qui sert à régénérer des catalyseurs d'hydrotraitement et d'hydrocraquage, consiste à exposer le catalyseur à un rayonnement laser en présence d'un gaz oxydant. Le procédé peut être utilisé pour régénérer des catalyseurs métalliques soutenus ou non soutenus qui ont été contaminés par des dépôts de coke.
