A recording method for assigning onto a number of data tracks the recording signals constituted by a sequence of a number of data of an editing unit which are the data of a minimum unit that can be rewritten in order to record them onto a recording medium. The method comprises a step for dividing the data of the editing unit of recording signals into N (an integer of 2 or greater) data, and a step for dividing all of the data tracks into plural numbers and which assigns the divided data to N partial data tracks that are neighbouring among the data tracks with the divided portions as partial data tracks to record the data onto a recording medium.

Procédé d'enregistrement permettant d'affecter à un ensemble de pistes de données les signaux d'enregistrement constitués par une séquence d'un ensemble de données d'une unité de correction, qui sont les données d'une unité minimale qui peuvent être récrites afin de les enregistrer sur un support d'enregistrement. Le procédé consiste à diviser les données de l'unité de correction de signaux d'enregistrement en N (nombre entier égal ou supérieur à 2) données, et à diviser toutes les pistes de données en plusieurs nombres, cette étape affectant les données divisées à N pistes de données partielles qui sont avoisinantes parmi les pistes de données, les parties divisées faisant office de pistes de données partielles, afin d'enregistrer les données sur un support d'enregistrement. Par rapport au procédé d'enregistrement usuel, les signaux ainsi reproduits présentent moins de détériorations, en ce qui concerne l'opération de correction, même si cette dernière s'effectue avec une déviation par rapport à la configuration de pistes sur lesquelles les données ont déjà été enregistrées, à la suite du manque de linéarité des pistes, de la déviation de hauteur de la tête et des erreurs d'alignement pendant la reproduction, défauts provoqués par une précision mécanique insuffisante.
