Abstract:
(EN) A multiprocessor system is implemented by locating groups of processors (103, 113, 108, 107) at nodes (110) which are interconnected by way of a transport network (80) and which are connected by way of local lines (104) to customer terminals (101) and hosts (101). Each processor (107) supports a plurality of processes including certain process executing programs "customized" for the customers and other processes executing programs having "universal capabilities" which serve common needs of a plurality of customers. Processes (126, 119, 128, 123) communicate with other processes in the same processor (107) by way of internal links (136, 142, 144) and with other processes in other processors by way of combinations of internal links and external communication links (112, 105). Interface processes (128, 134) exchange data between the internal and external links. A process can initiate a call to any other process and define communication parameters for exchanging data information by selecting the appropriate internal link (136, 142, 144) and supplying the code defining the communication parameters to the selected internal link.
(FR) Un système à multi processeurs est réalisé en situant des groupes de processeurs (103, 113, 108, 107) au niveau de noeuds (110) qui sont interconnectés par un réseau de transport (80) et qui sont connectés par des lignes locales (104) allant à des terminaux de clients (101) et des hôtes (101). Chaque processeur (107) supporte une pluralité de procédés comprenant certains procédés d"exécution de programmes "personnalisés" pour les clients et d"autres procédés exécutant des programmes ayant "des possibilités universelles" qui répondent aux besoins communs d"une pluralité d"utilisateurs ou clients.
