Abstract
(EN)
An extruder (11) for working rubber and other elastomeric compounds having an extruder screw with a feed section (22, 23), metering section (24, 25) and a transition section (23, 24). The transition section has a plurality of working sections in succession with each section having a pair of helical flights (26, 27) defining a pair of primary channels (28, 29).One of such helical nights has a flight (30) that leads off to define a secondary channel (32) for leading off the portion of the compound subjected to a shearing action from the primary channels (28, 29). The primary channels (28, 29) decrease in volume while their axial width remains the same. The secondary channel (32) increases in axial width and depth to accomodate the worked rubber compound.

Un appareil a extrader (11) pour traiter le caoutchouc et autres composants elastomeres possede une vis a extruder avec une section d"alimentation (22, 23), une section de mesure (24, 25) et une section de transition (23, 24). La section de transition possede une pluralite de sections de travail faisant suite a chaque section ayant une paire de filets helicoidaux (26, 27) definissant une paire de premiers canaux (28, 29). L"un des ces filets helicoidaux possede un filet (30) qui sert a definir un canal secondaire (32) pour entrainer la partie du compose soumise a une action de cisaillement des premiers canaux (28, 29). Les premiers canaux (28, 29) diminuent en volume, leur largeur axiale restant la meme. La largeur et la profondeur axiale du canal secondaire (32) augmente pour recevoir le compose de caoutchouc en cours de traitement.
