Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Außenleiterkontaktelement (2) für einen Winkelsteckverbinder (1). Der Winkelsteckverbinder (1) weist einen Crimpabschnitt (9) zum Verpressen des Außenleiterkontaktelements (2) auf einem elektrischen Kabel (4) auf, mit einem stirnseitig geöffneten, freien Ende (10) zur Aufnahme des Kabels (4). Der Winkelsteckverbinder (1) weist ferner einen hülsenförmigen Kontaktabschnitt (12) mit einem stirnseitig geöffneten, freien Ende (13) zur Herstellung einer Verbindung mit einem korrespondierenden Gegensteckverbinder auf, wobei zwischen einer ersten Längsachse (L1) des Kontaktabschnitts (12) und einer zweiten Längsachse (L2) des Crimpabschnitts (9) ein Abgangswinkel (α) ausgebildet ist. Außerdem weist der Winkelsteckverbinder (1) einen wannenförmigen Übergangsbereich (14) auf, der sich ausgehend von dem Crimpabschnitt (9) entlang der zweiten Längsachse (L2) des Crimpabschnitts (9) bis zu dem Kontaktabschnitt (12) erstreckt. Der Crimpabschnitt (9), der Kontaktabschnitt (12) und der Übergangsbereich (14) sind einstückig aus einem tiefgezogenen Blechteil ausgebildet. embedded image
