(DE)

Bei einem Verfahren zum Schweißen einer Lichtleitfaser (10), insbesondere einer Hohlkernfaser, und eines Lochelements (12), insbesondere aus Glas, mittels eines gepulsten Laserstrahls (16), insbesondere UKP-Laserstrahls, wobei die Lichtleitfaser (10) in ein Loch (14) des Lochelements (12) eingeschoben ist, so dass der Außenumfang der Lichtleitfaser (10) und der Innenumfang des Loches (14) eine zylindrische Fügefläche (24) bilden, wobei die Lichtleitfaser (10) und das Lochelement (12) im Bereich der Fügefläche (24) mittels des in das Werkstückmaterial fokussierten Laserstrahls (16) lokal aufgeschmolzen und dadurch miteinander verschweißt werden, wird erfindungsgemäß ein gepulster Laserstrahl (16) auf den Bereich der Fügefläche (24) fokussiert und der Laserfokus (F) im Bereich der Fügefläche (24) axial bewegt, um im Bereich der Fügefläche (24) mindestens eine Schweißnaht (26), insbesondere eine axiale Schweißnaht, zu erzeugen. embedded image
