Eine Telematiksteuerung ist mit einem ersten Modem verbunden, um über ein Weitverkehrsnetz zu kommunizieren. Eine Steuerung für ein autonomes Fahrzeug ist mit einem zweiten Modem verbunden, um über das Netz zu kommunizieren, und ist dazu programmiert, Befehle für autonome Fahrzeuge zu senden, die unter Verwendung von Daten für autonome Fahrzeuge bestimmt werden, um das Fahrzeug zu steuern. Eine Scheduler-Steuerung ist dazu programmiert, die Telematiksteuerung und die Steuerung für ein autonomes Fahrzeug anzuweisen, Daten für autonome Fahrzeuge unter Verwendung des ersten und zweiten Modems über das Netz abzuladen.
