Multifokale Augenlinse mit einer Anzahl n > 2 von Hauptbrechkräften, wobei zumindest eine Hauptbrechkraft refraktiv und zumindest eine Hauptbrechkraft diffraktiv ist, mit einem ersten Linsenbereich (15, 16, 23, 25, 26), welcher zumindest eine erste ringförmige Zone (6, 10, 19, 27, 28) aufweist, und zumindest einem zweiten Linsenbereich (15, 16, 23, 25, 26), welcher zumindest eine zweite ringförmige Zone (6, 10, 19, 27, 28) aufweist, wobei die Zonen (6, 10, 19, 27, 28) jeweils zumindest eine Haupt-Unterzone (7, 11, 20, 29, 31) und zumindest eine Phasen-Unterzone (8, 12, 21, 30, 32) aufweisen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zum Ausbilden der n Hauptbrechkräfte maximal n – 1 Linsenbereiche (15, 16, 23, 25, 26) kombiniert sind, die sich in einem optischen Parameter umfassend eine Brechkraft und/oder eine Intensität der Fernbrechkraft und/oder eine Größe einer optischen Oberfläche unterscheiden, und eine gemittelte refraktive Brechkraft einer Zone (6, 10, 19, 27, 28) des ersten Linsenbereichs (15, 16, 23, 25, 26) gleich einer gemittelten refraktiven Brechkraft einer Zone (6, 10, 19, 27, 28) des zweiten Linsenbereichs (15, 16, 23, 25, 26) ist.
