Abstract
(DE)

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Titanschlacke aus Ilmenit, bei dem körniger Ilmenit zunächst in einem Reduktionsreaktor mit einem Reduktionsmittel partiell reduziert wird und anschließend das so erhaltene heiße Material mit einer Eintrittstemperatur von wenigstens 550 DEG C in einen Elektroofen transferiert und dort in Gegenwart eines Reduktionsmittels unter Bildung von flüssigem Roheisen und Titanschlacke geschmolzen wird, sowie eine zur Durchführung des Verfahrens geeignete Anlage.
