Receiving quality in the receiving of signals from a plurality of transmission antennas is improved. A radio communication system including a communication apparatus (1) can transmit signals each including same data from a transmission antenna (2a) and a transmission antenna (3a) to a mobile station (4). The mobile station (4) measures a difference in receiving timing between the signal from the transmission antenna (2a) and the signal from the transmission antenna (3a). The communication apparatus (1) exercises following control so as to change at least one of transmission timing of the signal from the transmission antenna (2a) and transmission timing of the signal from the transmission antenna (3a) according to the difference in receiving timing at the mobile station (4).
