Provided is an acoustic signal processing device, a processing method thereof, and a program, by which auditory noises which occur in differential signals generated by acoustic signals of a plurality of channels can be suppressed. A differential spectrum calculation unit (320) calculates a differential absolute value of frequency spectra of left and right channels from the frequency spectrum generation units (311 and 312) as a differential spectrum. A low level band determination unit (330) determines a differential spectrum corresponding to a low level band from among differential spectra of all frequency bands. A substitution spectrum generation unit (350) generates a substitution spectrum for substituting the differential spectrum on the basis of the frequency spectrum of the left channel. A spectrum substitution unit (360) substitutes the differential spectrum corresponding to the low level band to the substitution spectrum corresponding to the differential spectrum. An accompaniment signal generation unit (370) generates an accompaniment signal by converting the frequency spectrum from the spectrum substitution unit (360) to a time domain signal.
