A cab structure for a construction machine of the so-called type with a small swing radius at the rear, in which type, in a plan view, the length of projection from a lower traveling body (2) of a rotating table (3) in rotation is equal to or less than a predetermined ratio relative to a rotation radius. The structure is capable of achieving sufficient rigidity for a load acting on the structure when the machine topples, and this is achieved without an increase in the number of parts. A cab (10) has a cab structure body (20) constructed from left and right front columns (31a, 32b) formed by bending pipe materials into a substantially letter-L shape, left and right rear columns (32a, 32b) formed by rectilinear pipes, and other members. The rear end of a beam section (31ab) of the left front column (31a) placed on the left surface side of the cab (10) that includes a circular arc section formed along a rotation raceway of the rotation table (3) and the upper end of the left rear column (32a) are arranged at positions displaced from each other. The rear end of the beam section (31ab) of the left front column (31a) and the upper end of the left rear column (32a) thus displaced are joined to each other by a rear end beam (33).
