Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a phase difference film which restrains the variation of the phase differential value which is taken as the disadvantage of the cellulose phase difference film and has stable displaying quality (visual angle), a polarizer and a liquid crystal display device. The phase difference film of the invention is characterized in that an cellulose derivative and elasticizer are included, the film thickness is 10 to 50 mu m, an Ro represented by the following formula (i) is in the range from 30 to 100 nm, an Rt represented by the following formula (ii) is in the range from 100 to 300 nm, and an S represented by the formula (iii) is 0.002 to 0.030. Formula (i) Ro=(nx-ny)*d; formula (ii) Rt=S*D; and formula (iii) S=((nx+ny)/2-nz). (in the formula, nx is the maximum refraction ration in the film surface, ny is the refraction ratio in the direction vertical to nx, nz is the refraction ratio in the direction of the film thickness, and d represents the film thickness (nm)).

本发明提供抑制作为以往纤维素系相位差薄膜缺点的相位差值的变动,且显示品质(视角)稳定的相位差薄膜、偏光片及液晶显示装置。本发明的相位差薄膜的特征在于,含有纤维素衍生物和增塑剂,膜厚为10~50μm、下述(i)所示的Ro为在30~100nm的范围、式(ii)所示的Rt为100~300nm的范围、且式(iii)所示的S为0.002~0.030。式(i)Ro=(nx-ny)×d;式(ii)Rt=S×d;式(iii)S=((nx+ny)/2-nz)。(其中,nx为薄膜面内的最大折射率,ny为与nx垂直方向的折射率,nz为薄膜厚度方向的折射率,d表示薄膜的厚度(nm))。
