Abstract
(EN) The invention relates to a display control device and a method for acquiring light intensity distribution of a backlight plate, and aims to solve the problems in related technologies. The display control device comprises one or more integrated circuits; wherein the one or more integrated circuits comprise a processing unit used for determining light intensity distribution information correspondingto a backlight plate of the display according to data detected by an area array brightness detection device, and the area array brightness detection device is located in front of a screen of the display and used for detecting image data of the display when at least one backlight block of the backlight plate is lightened; a display main control circuit, which is used for receiving the image videosignal and determining the initial transmittance of the display and the initial light intensity of the backlight plate according to the image video signal; and an adjusting circuit, which is used foradjusting the light intensity of the backlight plate according to the light intensity distribution information and adjusting the transmittance of the display, so that the product of the adjusted lightintensity of the backlight plate and the adjusted transmittance of the display is equal to the product of the initial transmittance and the initial light intensity.
