The voltage-controlled oscillator comprises N stages of delay units, and each stage of delay unit comprises a first phase inverter, a second phase inverter, a third phase inverter and a fourth phase inverter; the second phase inverter and the third phase inverter are electrically connected with the frequency control end and can control whether to activate the second phase inverter and the third phase inverter or not under the control of the frequency control end.
