The explosion-proof electromagnet device comprises an electromagnet shell, an electromagnetic coil and an explosion-proof cover; the explosion-proof cover is mounted on one side, accommodating the electromagnetic coil, of the electromagnet shell; the explosion-proof cover is in interference fit with the electromagnet shell; the explosion-proof cover is made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy material. The brake comprises a controller, a brake part, a shell and an anti-explosion electromagnet device; the brake part and the anti-explosion electromagnet device are installed on the shell; and the controller is used for controlling the anti-explosion electromagnet device to drive the brake part to move. According to the explosion-proof electromagnet device and the brake of the invention, the electromagnet shell, the electromagnetic coil and the anti-explosion cover form the integral anti-explosion electromagnet device to form the permanent anti-explosion electromagnet device; the permanent anti-explosion electromagnet device is compact in structure, an anti-explosion box does not need to be additionally arranged, and therefore, cost is saved, and the weight is reduced.
